Dugald is co-director of a small production company called Sundog Productions. He composed the music & lyrics, and Dana M Bergstrom was the book author. Dugald also designed and made the puppets for the show.
2020 and beyond
Further development of the work as a song cycle for concert called Songs from Antarctica is currently under way.
2016 Production
In 2016 Sundog Productions, in conjunction with the Tasmanian Theatre Company presented the world premiere of the musical Antarctica – A New Musical at Hobart’s iconic Theatre Royal.
Terence O’Connell directed the production, Craig Wood was Musical Director, Peter Wilson Director of Puppetry, Eamon D’Arcy Production Designer, Cassie Xintavelonis Choreographer and Jason Bovaird Lighting Designer.
